BITHYNIA. Prusa ad Olympum. Commodus, 177-192. Diassarion (Bronze, 24 mm, 7.57 g, 1 h), circa 177-179. ΑVΤ Κ Λ ΑYΡ ΚΟΜΟΔΟϹ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Commodus to right, seen from behind. Rev. ΠΡ-OΥ/ⳞΑΕⲰΝ Temple with six columns and shield in pediment. RPC IV.1 online 8452.1 corr. (same obverse die, but misdescribed as bare-headed. Note that is 8452.2 is of a different type, with a mature, bearded head and no cuirass and drapery). Extremely rare. Scratches, otherwise, very fine.
